Yoga Beyond the Mat
Tantra Yoga
Tantra Yoga derives from ancient practices to recognize our personal divinity and connect more fully to the greater world.

For more serious practitioners, Tantra helps us unearth and understand dysfunctional patterns that stifle our lives and our relationships, and then move toward a clearer perspective, a more sustainable outlook, and a relationship with our True Self.
What is Yoga Beyond the Mat?
The rich and expansive origins of yoga offer practices for those looking to go somewhere beyond a classroom or home asana practice.

While most popular yoga focuses on body postures, or asana, the real meat (no, I'm not a vegetarian) of the tradition addresses deficiencies, excesses and imbalances of the mind/body/spirit complex.

The role of breathing, chanting, and other meditative practices offer an opportunity to become whole, the most complete version of ourselves, while letting go of the stream of self-criticism, longing and fear within which most of us spend so much time.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy addresses issues of disease, whether in mind, body or soul. It's practices seek to manage suffering, reduce or eliminate symptoms, and create balance.

Done one-on-one, therapy sessions focus on the needs and goals of the client, developing practices to empower the individual to make their own transformation.
